At the same time, a seven-year-old child was lost their life in a different assault in the southeastern region in the southeastern part, as reported by area administrators.

Moscow has intensified attacks on energy facilities over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Moscow.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 rockets struck energy facilities, describing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.

The energy minister said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were working to restore power.
