Star Denies Anti-Vaxxer Position After Voicing Controversial Pandemic Film

Liam Neeson has given his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that challenges the safety of vaccinations and commends ex- government figure Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Feature's Contentious Origins

Named "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is adapted from a well-known publication co-authored by Judy Mikovits, who gained notoriety during the global outbreak for claims that the virus was caused by a problematic version of the seasonal immunization.

The book's co-author, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with far-right media personality Alex Jones. He took to social media celebrating Neeson's participation in the project.

An Unequivocal Denial

A spokesperson for Liam Neeson have provided a response firmly refuting suggestions that he supports anti-immunization sentiments.

"Many acknowledge that corruption might be present within the drug industry, but that cannot be confused with rejection of vaccines," the statement reads. "He never has been, and cannot be described as, anti-vax. His considerable work with Unicef reinforces his long-held support for global immunisation initiatives."

The response added that the performer had no hand in the film's narrative and that concerns about its assertions are best addressed to the producers.

Key Assertions In the Feature

According to the documentary, the narration read by Neeson includes several strong points:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have called for "unconditional submission" to health authorities.
  • It argues that "medical science has become deeply politicized."
  • Kennedy is interviewed saying, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't adequately tested."
  • The narration also criticizes stay-at-home orders, claiming they caused psychological harm that cost thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of Covid vaccines, it references a view that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "risky trials."

Past Controversy and Recent Issues

The documentary further cites a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was subsequently the subject of a formal apology by the broadcaster for unbalanced reporting.

In recent weeks, RFK Jr called on the CDC to alter its longstanding position that there is no link between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This assertion is echoed in the film, even with a new report from the WHO stating no evidence has been found.

A Past Position of Support

Standing in contrast to the documentary's narrative, Neeson has formerly shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he referred to vaccines as "an incredible human success story," noting that "The conversation about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in our history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's narration saying, "This marks not the finish of our story. Rather, it is the dawn of a fresh chapter."
