A funding package that would end the record-setting funding lapse in US history is reaching the House of Representatives for a critical decision on Wednesday.

On the sixth week of the budget deadlock, congressional members are reassembling in Washington to determine if they will pass a Senate package that would support federal agencies for 60 days.
