Vince Zampella, Dies in a California Traffic Collision

The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio that he helped create.

The renowned video game developer died after his automobile collided and burst into flames on a highway in LA on Sunday, US media outlets report.

"This is an unimaginable loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
